Das Wapuu (Japanisch: わぷー) ist schon seit vielen Jahren das Maskottchen der internationalen WordPress-Community. Es hat sich überall etabliert, dass jedes WordCamp eine eigene Version dieser niedlichen Kreatur kreiert. Für das Stuttgarter WordCamp wollen wir natürlich dieser Tradition folgen und haben nicht nur ein, sondern gleich vier #WCSTG Wapuus erstellt:

For many years the Wapuu character (Japanese: わぷー) has been the mascot for the international WordPress Community. It is well established that every WordCamp create its own version of this cute creature. For the WordCamp Stuttgart we want to uphold this tradition and created not just one, but four #WCSTG Wappus:

Heute morgen wird im Balkonsaal (Track 2) ab 10:00 ein Community-Orga-Treffen stattfinden. Ziel ist es die Entscheidungsfindungen innerhalb WP Community besser zu organisieren. Leute finden, die Verantwortung übernehmen und / oder eine Rolle einnehmen möchten. Gemeinschaftlich einen Fahrplan entwicklen, wie Entscheidungen getroffen werden können.

This morning there will be a community organisation meeting in the Balkonsaal (Track 2) at 10:00 am. The goal is to better plan and organise the WP Community. Finding people for new responsibilities and to assign new possible roles. Develop a future schedule together, how to make decisions in the community.

Rund um das WordCamp Stuttgart wird es ein kleines kulinarisches Rahmenprogramm geben. Diesen Freitag Abend geht es nach dem Contributor Day mit dem Warm Up so richtig los. Am Vorabend, genauer gesagt am Donnerstag Abend, können sich die „frühen Vögel“ bereits zur Public Beta treffen.

Besides the main programme of WordCamp Stuttgart there will be a culinary side programme. This Friday evening after the Contributor Day the WordCamp will start with the Warm Up event. On the eve of this day – Thursday evening to be exact – the “early birds” will gather for the Public Beta.
